Cheryl Malik isn’t new to the paleo world; she’s been following the lifestyle since 2015 after completing the Whole30 and seeing how genuinely amazing she could feel. But how did Cheryl get started with paleo life?
Discovering Paleo Life
Cheryl has been interested in food since an early age. She decided to transition to vegetarianism at age 10 because there was just something not right with the typical American diet. As such, she was vegetarian or vegan on and off for almost 15 years.
Before trying any diet, Cheryl struggled with poor sleep, jaw pain, and postpartum weight she couldn’t get rid of. She then decided to try the Whole30 after a year postpartum to solve some health issues she was experiencing. She was shocked at the results after a few weeks following the protocol. All of the issues she had been dealing with were fixed. Since then, Cheryl has been hooked; that was the start of her paleo journey.
