Creator of One Hungry Monkey, Sophia Cong likes to put a healthy and modern spin on your favourite classic recipes using fresh and seasonal ingredients. As a busy nurse working long shifts, she needs healthy and nutrient-dense foods to keep both her body and mind sharp.
For as long as Sophia can remember, she’s been a total foodie. She loves to explore different cuisines and cultures through their food and incorporate those elements into her recipes. She also doesn’t follow a “diet,” but rather enjoys eating a diverse diet that is free of labels.
In addition to spending her time in the kitchen and as a nurse, Sophia also loves to do yoga, swim, and explore the outdoors (however difficult that may be in Toronto during the cold months).
